A small fleet of buses are available to transport pupils to and from Al Yasmina School. Places on these buses are limited.

2009 – 2010 Cost/Guidelines

The cost per pupil per term for the 2009 – 2010 academic year will be:

Term 1 AED 1,980/-
Term 2 AED 1,860/-
Term 3 AED 1,560/-

The above is the price for a round trip each day (both ways), which includes an amount for the payment of one responsible supervisor. Parents wishing to use the bus service for one way travel are welcome to do so, but will need to pay the full round trip price.

  1.  The bus will have a supervisor on board who will be responsible for all children.
  2.  All buses are fitted with seatbelts.
  3.  The maximum number of pupils on each bus is 32.
  4. Any pupil not collected at the point of delivery shall be returned to school and the parent contacted to collect him/her.  Additional cost resulting from this will be charged to the parents.
  5. Costs will be invoiced in the first week of the relevant term and payment must be paid in full (termly) within seven days. If the relevant payment is not made within seven days the pupil will no longer be able to use the bus service.
  6. A home door to door service is not part of the service. Al Yasmina operates a policy of using gathering/collection points.
  7. Parents need to be aware that high standards of behaviour are expected from children who use the bus service. Children who misbehave on the bus will have their bus place withdrawn.

Damac/Abella Corniche  – Car park on corner of 1st /& 26th Streets near Damac Building, Abella and the new mosque

Urban Park Corniche  – Urban Park car park on corner of 1st & 2nd  Streets near ABF Restaurant and Chamber of Commerce Building

Formal Park Corniche – Formal Park car park on corner of 1 & 6th Streets near ADGAS building

Zayed City Market – car park area between Zayed City Market and the Central Post Office on 4th Street

STOP 1 - parking area off 4th Street between 9th & 11th Streets, down from Pearl School, next to Teresa Ladies Salon & Euro Hotel Apartments
STOP 2 – located in parking area in Delma (13th) Street outside Emirates National School.

STOP 1 Located in side street behind Etisilat Building and beside Municipality Offices  off 10th (Green sign) Street
STOP 2 Junction of 31st and 4th Streets in the New Abu Dhabi Coop Car Park area.
